If you're smokin weed you don't need a radar detector because you will be going slowwwwwwww when high. Driving the speed limit exactly when you are high is fun, it's feels like your going fast when you are not. Not from experience or anything, just what I heard.

It is almost just like playing a real-life version of Pole Position.. "Prepare to Qualify!" Not from experience or anything, just what I heard.

I refused a LEO searching my car once while a friend was with me, he asked me 3 times if he could search it and each time I said no, he was pissed so he made some bogus ticket for having too many lights on.

Not a lawyer but I believe if they have reason they can search without a warrant in every state in the USA. A warrant would be required to search a trunk, but as far as I know, that is the only spot a warrant would be needed.

Quickly toss the RD out the window before you get pulled over.

I had 4 sets of fog lights on my car and apparently "dazzling lights" are illegal in NY (only emergency vehicles can have dazzling lights). I went to court and fought it, but of course lost.

If you start moving around and it looks like you are trying to hide something, the officer is going to think you are trying to hide contrband. The first thing he is going to be concerned with is saftey and he might think you are going for a weapon. This will get his adrenaline pumping and he will probably call for a backup unit. I read somewhere that the best way to get out of a ticket is to be submissive and polite, which will calm the officer down. His first concern is his saftey, not issuing a ticket. I asked one of my friends who is a cop about that and he said that its true.
