Hey, where are all the good pics of radar detector guts? I've never taken one apart (although I have a good candidate) and was just curious. :?:

Yeah, you can search the FCC site for lots of cool guts pictures... if you look in Whistler's forum I definitely saw XTR-690 and Pro-78 guts. IIRC there's spectre guts in the spectre forum too, and it looks like a cheap RD, I think there was even a hole where the laser detector diode was supposed to go!

Im pretty sure if you take apart a radar detector, it voids the warranty. At least in V1's case.
