Why would you want to profit from the misfortune of Canadian drivers who've had their detectors seized? And, offering to give money back to the cops so they can buy more radar equipment and RDD?

I'm curious. Its my understanding that, in the Canadian provinces where RDs are illegal, RDs when found are seized and forfeited to the the Crown -- only eventually to be destroyed.
Now, I live in Georgia and wonder if it would be possible to receive these RDs and resell them on eBay with the Canadian PD which sent them to me receiving half of the profits and me keeping the other half. In a short while this could build up to enough money for the particular Canadian PD to buy more RDDs, radar guns, et cetera.
Obviously I can see where the Crown would frown upon sending these seized RDs to another Canadian province for resale where RDs are legal to use, but what about sending them to the US? If such a deal could be worked out, then I would stipulate in my auctions something like "US buyers only -- will not accept bids from Canada, nor ship to Canada". In this way everybody, except the poor suckers who were illegally using a RD, wins!
Just a thought...MEM-TEK
