    Default Aquired a Stealth Ninja - Review!

    well I aquired a stealth ninja radar detector from a person i know. This person bought a detector with a few mates as this detector is supposed to be stealth to the spectre 3 well one of those mates got sniffed out by a spectre 3...the cops didnt find it as they stashed it...so after this incident they got the STi and gave me a stealth ninja to play with...so a play i did

    the stalth ninja is supposed to be stelth to spectre and VG2...well I can tell you my VG2 even detects it..so there goes that classic RMR type marketing..lol

    This stelth ninja is actually a RMR D550 rebadged so there is the problem right there...the next funny thing is they wer being sold in WA for more than $1400 bucks....man some people are suckers.

    Anyway, the detector is very light..almost like nothing is in it, crap display , ill have time to test with K and Ka eradar and Kustom laser on the weekend.

    Here is a DIRECT QUOE from the website that used to sell them;

    Designed in Australia and using the latest DSP and software
    upgradeable technology. The first and only fully digital Radar
    Detector available. The Stealth Ninja is a highly sensitive and fine
    tuned Radar Detector providing extremely long range and voice
    alerts. Includes advanced Stealth Technology for invisibility against
    VG2, VG3, Stalcar, Spectre II and Spectre III. Up to 250% more
    sensitive than imported products producing the best warnings and
    range, excellent Photo Radar Reception (such as Multanova,)
    custom and unique Australian frequency programming and smart
    filtering reduces 90% of nuisance false alerts compared to all
    imported Radar Detectors.

    So thats my mini review of this peice of junk, I noticed the seller of these was a$$ whooped and removed them from his site...thank god for that.

    here is some pics;

    Who said this conman disappeared he has been around all the time!
    Check the site out at http://www.radars.com.au/contact.htm

    His next stunt was the Obliterator which was obliterated and did not last to long either.

    Corporate details:
    Company name; Total Control Pty. Ltd.

    ACN #: 084 064 844

    ABN #: 94 084 064 844

    Trading since August 1998 as a company and since 1992 as a registered business

    At one stage the same person made the claim his company was sold and moved to New Zealand. Here is back again selling a different product and making new claims.

    Nothing has changed same old peddler trying a new stunt!

    Even attacks the STi.

    Note all the claims made on his site.

    Beware

    lol, yes I remember when Nick was "moving to NZ" and I was going to NZ and I tried to get his address so I could verify it and drop in but he didnt want to give up the address..lol

    There is a few companies that have teamed up with him, i feel sorry for them cause they are blind to the conman it is.

    I see this pic from his site..hmm...doesnt look like him;
