I love how the test was a bit biased tgo BELscort in the False testing.
The X50 was using the Cheetah system? Why wasn't the V1 using a cheetah system as well?

the x50 was not officially tested all weekend. the only belscorts officially tested where the STi & 9500i. that was Roy's x50 that was tested with the Cheetah. I think it was to just show off the cheetah mirror and not the x50.
The sad thing is Cobra got to test the V1 most of the weekend and after I instructed them several times on how to disable X or K I'm sure they didn't figure it out.
I did the first round of testing with the v1 on the false course then they took it away from me because I was "doing it wrong"...
So take those results with a grain of salt.
Hah. The Q3 SBIII is the old PNI Sensoro Silver Bullet in a different colored case!Originally Posted by thestaton
Odd thing is I went to the Q3 online store and the stuff they sell is exactly like the stuff PNI "innovates."
I thought PNI actually did r&d (for their other products besides detectors) and not just rebrand Chinese imports....
Ah well, at least I got my Silver Bullet for $30 and not the $150 that Q3 wants for the "SBIII."
Whats with the BS on the long range test.
I highly doubt that all of the detectors are equal on range.
lol, such bs.....................

The FTC no longer protects the consumer.
Since when has anyone been able to get the EPA highway or city mileage as indictated on their window sticker?
Have you seen GMRS radio ads lately? 20+ mile range with UHF and a rubber duck, I think not!! They dont list the power output like 1/2 watt 2 watts etc but some range figure that no one will ever get unless you are on a freaking boat!
Is this the road we are going down now for detector testing?
Look, for detectors, all we need is sensitivity numbers and filtering spec ratings instead of unrealistic tests.
yep, quite sure its the money factor. Cant offend the sponsors

it's a marketing ploy. that 9 miles was weird but those results are how it went down. I tested the Q3 and oh my god. starting at 9 miles and then driving for 5 solid miles until you get an alert god what a waste of time.Originally Posted by Phillip559

Hell there was an officer running 35.5 and he was who knows where and we kept picking up his instant on.
