Go for it. If its already tinted just make sure 1 inch of the old tint comes down passed the new tint.Originally Posted by yahtzee
In NY State you cant tint your windshield but that is considering the whole thing.
Perfectly Legal.
The only thing that the law states is you can't tint the entire front
window.
I wonder why that is?Originally Posted by Orbital75

It look like you can tint from the top of your windshield all the way down to the AS1 mark on your windshield in Virginia.
The way I understood the law here (VA), you can not exceed 4" beyond the edge of the windowshield. Nothing can obstruct the view of the driver, IE Scanners, CBs, Tint, etc. I also know that you cannot have anything hanging from the mirror, Necklaces, beads, Flags etc. (like they really enforce that though)Originally Posted by <<JAZZY>>
Every place I have checked all say that the AS1 mark on the windshield is the limit for tint in Virginia. The AS1 mark is about 6" down from the top of my windshield.Originally Posted by RadarHell

anyone ever heard of a tinter being able to fade it down? Just curious if I should hold out for that or if I should only put a strip wide enough to hide the suction cups.
