Well I would buy a single LPP. No LPPs have died after three years of usage.
just sayin....
Scanners are all fun. But the only time they come in handy is when you are testing or looking for speed traps.
If there is laser in your area, the choice is simpleThe scanner won't be all that helpful in detecting speed traps. If you save up just a little bit more, just buy a CB radio along with the AL

My LPP died after 6 months of usage...
Is their an Anti Laser USA or the same way of buying an LPP?
Do all diode jammers run a big risk of burning out? Laser interceptor included?
LPP hasnt even been out for 2 full years..... :wink:Originally Posted by Subaru_Impreza

Also i dont run into laser that much just occasionally maybe0nce every 2 months run into my UPD using PLIII.
A diode can burn out, the question is how long? If it lasts 4 years, that is good because by that time technology will advance even furthure.
You can buy a scanner for $99 at Walmart why would you spend $500?
Bc my county is switching over to digital freq. Older analog systems are being phased out all over the US. Supposibly my whole city is supposed to be switched over to digital by the start of 2008. $99 Analog scanner wont be able to pick up these freqs. Not to mention on my way to visit home about 4 hour drive i only run into Texas DPS which are all on Digital.Originally Posted by davekr
