Anyone try any mods to try and increase effectiveness?
Probably wouldn't work out all too well since I'm sure the detectors are designed a certain way on the inside.. but has anyone tried anything like adding an external horn or something to that effect? Just got to thinking after reading about the new spectre.
An external horn will increase the range of your radar detector, but it will also increase the range at which the Spectre can detect your radar detector.
Hmm, so it may work out then, you're saying? I only mention the spectre because of new models having a longer external horn iirc. Not concerned about spectre detection in my area.
