laser on the pike although I've never had that much trouble in mass on the highway. but nonhighway the local police in some towns / cities are brutal in my opinion

There's often a statie by the rt9 exit shooting laser among other places. Driving in ma feels way more comforting to me than in upstate ny. In upstate, cars are more sparse, and the average speed is maybe low-mid 70s. Once I make it to mass, there's a load more cars and everyone is flying. Just don't make yourself stand out. Some signs emit k band but they're mostly past springfield iirc. Some ka too.

Sorry if laser isn't what you wanted to hear. Make some mud and cover your car in it

    I agree with the above.

there will be a lot of rabbits going upwards to 80mph

    laser is a threat.

But I also think they just sit there and watch, pursue and pace.

Yeah, it's real hit or miss here. You see people driving far over the PSL and the police ignore it. It's a free-for-all much of the time.

Use common sense and excercise far more caution when you're the only car on the road. IOW, slow down when there's no traffic, speed up when there's much traffic....doesn't make sense does it

Thanks for the replies. I would actually like to encounter a real laser threat, never have.

I won't be speeding most of the time. I am getting a charger for the rental (Ihope) and I know that they already stand out

    MA pike (90)

Cars in break down lane just after crest of hill or at bottom of hill.

After Worcester, there is a desolate stretch where the LEO will park off the road on the right (west bound), and similarly by the public work building.

Sometimes they park near the fast lane toll booths in Alston and then 128 Weston.

Coming into Springfield on 291 be careful at the 91 split too.
If you go to 91S (Exit 5) Leo in center turnaround just after merge onto 91S by Holyoke MAll.

    The return trip
end of guardrails JUSt before 84

bottom of hill Just after Worcester 290/395/12

Any top of hill in breakdown lane.

WATCH your dark color Explorers, Expeditions, Chargers and Crown Vics.
Most have state seal on plate (cop cars) trucks; 4 digits like the year: 1986
