Which RD do you have? Your name is V1dreamer, but do you have another RD right now? Most will have their own mountings. I don't personally use it because the rear antenna points at my roof when I do and my roof doesn't usually care what speed I'm going. You would have to make sure that if you do use the visor mount it will keep your RD level with the ground. In the case of the V1 make sure that the rear antenna has a clear view out of the rear window.

STI on the visor with the visor clip for 16 months now... hardwired, the wire is all inside the headliner... sorry, ain't no government to teach you how to use the $10 visor clip IF this mount is available for your particular RD...

ive had my x50 on the visor for about a year, and its great.
