Remote Install

Hello

Having athermic windshield, I'm looking all kind of remoted install for a radar detector.
Living in EU, I need the Ku band indeed.

Can you give me the vairous product that could correspond to my need ?
Does some Laser remote install exist and only deticated to laser detection ?

There seem to be no current remote RD's that detect Ku band.

Are you sure that your windshield doesn't have a small area that isn't covered? I think most of them have a small area (I think they intended it for GPS antennas) that is by the rear view mirror. Check in your manual or with a dealer.

Or tell us what car you have, someone else might know.

Search for Bel996 or Target660EVO.The name is the only difference between them.This RD is developed specially for EU and detects Ku,K-24.125GHz and one Ka-34.3GHz freq. Price is around 400€ and there are a lot of horn extensions and RDD filters available for this RD.

and what about with a remote Laser Install only ?
I've seens various things with GPS and laser included in but I was not able to find any remote laser install alone ?

Yes the winshield has a small opening without athermic but it is not enought to put the RD there and it is extremely visible to the police .... when rhe rd is prohibited, better to have a remoted install

Yeah.I know what you mean.Origin,RoadPilot,Talex...etc. and other similar systems have the option to connect laser sensor,but I think is't a waste of money.You should consider a laser jammer.Don't worry about jam codes,today's high end LJs don't give jam codes.
