I think he spotted your car before you can spot him. I mean, after all, he's trained to do IO ambushes and has a lot more experience doing it, and you as a driver have a lot more to pay attention to than if that little moving strip on the horizon could be a cop car.

i was the only car on the road but i could not see the cop cause we went over the hill at the same time let me see is i can get a map of what happin its no big deal just trying to figure how he knew i was there he had to have a spectra unit to detect me coming.

If his vehicle sits higher than yours, then he might have seen you coming before you saw him.

My guess is he didn't. He just squandered electrons on a reckless gamble that someone might be coming the other way, and that they might be speeding.

Have no fear, you can do the same thing -- as you approach the crest of a hill, make sure you are at the speed limit -- just in case there is a LEO randomly firing off radar, just in case someone is speeding.
