I don't think it's that hard for a cop to know you are there in oncoming traffic -- it's not like they just sit around and eat donuts during traffic radar training.

I don't see anything unusual about this encounter -- classic deadly IO.

He may have a spectre unit or just IO'd you once he got visual. The stalker DSR X2 is nothing special other than having 2 DSR units in one. Meaning, it can operate both front and rear antenna's with directional capability for each front and rear antenna's at the same time. The stalker DSR unit can only be operated front or rear and not both.

BTW, how did you know it was a stalker DSR X2? Or was it just guessing?

Yeah, just a normal I/O encounter. Let me guess were you the only car on the road / there only a few other cars next to you? The only way to actualy have 'protection' from I/O radar is to have traffic in front of you and have a sensitive RD so you can pick it up when it hits them.
Remembe to never speed if your the only car on the road!

i was the only car on the road but i could not see the cop cause we went over the hill at the same time let me see is i can get a map of what happin its no big deal just trying to figure how he knew i was there he had to have a spectra unit to detect me coming.

The hill could have obstructed his KA band, it is harder to detect than K band. As you both crested the hill your V1 alerted.

I got nothing but stalker dsrX2 in my town, granted I don’t have a V1 but at times with a big enough hill crest it has happened (not quite that short though). He also may have seen the roof of your car cresting the hill before you saw him than he I/O you.
