I don't think you need spec mode for that...I check for the same thing just by watching the number of radar sources/listening for the "bogey lock tone" (do Belscorts have an equivalent audio alert for picking up additional simultaneous sources?) If I drive past a store that always has 2 radar sources, and today it's got three, it's a cop.
