Got a ticket, no alert at all from V1 or Blinder?

All bands are on on the V1. Even X as they use it up in Northern Michigan still.

Could be the out of tune thing....major bummer. Come to think of it I have seen it NOT go off when seeing one of those trailers that displays your speed. ...thought they were tuned to a different frequency....guess not.

I will let everyone know how it goes. Haven't had a traffic conviction in over 15 years but this may end the streak. Got a laser ticket last year (which prompted the purchase of the blinder) but it was dismissed due to the officer not showing. Probably won't get that lucky twice in a row. DRAT.

PS, would be nice if Valentine sent a mailing to registered owners of older detectors about this "Tune up"

Was going to ask how my alleged speed was determined.

But....officer was a no show....Case Dismissed. YEA! the record stays clean.

I am sending my V1 to Valentine for "tuning" and the pop upgrade next week.

From the experience I had with VR customer service, you will have to specifically ask. I'm not saying their CS stinks, quite the opposite, it's just they don't seem to communicate well unless you ask for specifics.

rule of thumb, next time you get pulled over, just as a curteous thing to do, show the officer your concealed weapons license and tell him that you do have 1 but no weapon/have a weapon. They should be a little less hostile if you at least let them know before they check up on it.

He could of just made your speed by watching you. he doesn't need radar or laser to give you a ticket.

Right and then he has the ballz to write some sort of speed reading on the ticket, if It was me, I'd call him a liar in court RIGHT IN HIS FACE.

What kind of bull%%%% is this.......wow.....and how do I know that he didn't keep the last reading from another vehicle and just used that?

And the he writes "Radar detector" on the ticket.....like who the f&&& cares dude.......enforce the law, not your stupid ego.
