The Escort SRX uses the same radar antenna as the SR7 which it mounted up by the rear view of the test truck(RacerX's truck).. The performance of that detector is quite high :wink:

^ Gotta keep that in-perspective, though, bro..... The OP is on an M3 - RacerX's is a Tundra with, IIRC, the TRD Offroad package, which raises that sucker even higher.

I'd be more inclined to have the OP just get an up-to-date V1 - high-mounted - to round-out his defenses (as you said, although dated, the ZR3's jamming capability is still decent, provided that the enforcement hardware is a good match; and its laser reception is still among the best).

His vehicle's SRX/V1 setup should closely emulate that of erickonphoenix's, and IMveryHO, should work very, very well.

I'd honestly take-off the SRX only as a last resort, if you really, really needed the money, berner. With the 9500ci/ZR4 on-market, I'd imagine that your resale on the SRX would take a hit, now.

And since it's a proven performer - and proven to work well in-tandem with the V1 (each complimenting the other in a most tactical manner), I'd truly be tempted to retain both.
