Escalade and Laser cruise control?

Let me first say my V1 rarely ever alerts to laser (No laser used in my area and no infinity problems fortunately).

The other day, i was getting ready to turn the corner and all the sudden I get all these laser alerts. I know I wasn't being targeted because I was turning and clearly only going about 15 or 20 mph. Anyway, there was an Escalade coming toward me and turning left (when I was turning right) so we both converged.

I was getting numerous laser falses on the V1. I even turned around and drove back in the original direction to make sure there wasn't a LEO shooting laser.

Could this be laser cruise control on an escalade? I travel this route everyday and never had such an occurrence.

I don't own an escalade but I also never heard of escalade having the laser cruise control option. I may be wrong.

Correct the Escalade does not have an ACC option so that would not be the issue.

Well, I glad to know we have one less vehicle with this potentially annoying feature.

However, I still wonder what set my V1 off :roll: :roll:

The latest top-line Escalade has LED headlamps which could set off a detector in theory.

Unlikely. I have never seen or heard of after market cruise control using laser systems.

Maybe the V1 caught a whiff of the LED tail lamps?
