My car is at the stereo shop right now. Unfortunately, I am out of town on business. I should be home tomorrow evening and my install should be done. I hope anyways.

The plan was to do all the cutting on the grill today, then send it to the body shop to be painted. After that, he is going to install the rest of the system(it might be done, I don't know). The grill is supposed to be back from the body shop tomorrow, installed and we're done. Hopefully, I will pick it up tomorrow night! 8)

It'll probably be too dark to make a good video tomorrow(assuming the install is done), so I will cover the plates and do a walkaroung video Wednesday morning, hopefully. :? My brother and I will also be shooting it with the Ultralyte on Wednesday morning, if all goes according to plan.

All that! I decided to put the radar antenna in the center of the grill, pretty high up. It was smaller than I thought and will fit pretty easily.

The woman and I are going to Vegas this weekend and I am going to run my V1 along with my 9500ci. I should get a good idea how they stack up.

That's the holy grail of tests. I'll admit it, I'm worried about how the V1 will stand up. Are you gonna be running a camera to record your trip? I'd love to see the saves, but I could understand how the woman might think it's weird.

I am having my RVM camera hardwired along with the 9500ci install. So yes, I will have a camera, but it does not show the RDs, just the road with sound. I'll do my best to narate without having the girlfriend realize how big of a nerd I am and find herself another man in Vegas!

It should be pretty sweet with your camera. I just want to see which alerts first and I know what the V1 sounds like so I'll be able to see which beeps first. It should be funny to hear you say stuff like, "As you can see, the 9500ci alerted first with the V1 only slightly behind." Then the girlfriend asking who you're talking to. When do you return from the trip? So I know when to watch for the video.
