    Default Cobra® XRS Radar Detector

This was in the Sportsmansguide magazine I got.....and it is on their website....

Now you can steer clear of police and photo surveillance whenever you want! The Cobra® XRS Radar / Laser Detector features Ultra Performance 12 Band technology for extra detection range and advance warning.

It detects K (used by police for detecting speeding motorists), Ka POP (used to trigger cameras which take pictures of license plates of cars running red lights) and Ku (a high-resolution radar used by satellites).

((((and why is THIS important...picking up Ku Satellite Signals!!!! NOW I know WHY Cobra users mount their detectors on their windshield aiming them up in the sky!! AND KaPOP is used to trigger cameras?))))

Its Strobe Alert® picks up traffic light controlling strobes to let you know when emergency vehicles are in the area. And Voice Alert™ provides specific-band voice annunciation. 3 levels of City Mode reduce false alerts. Includes mounting bracket, suction cups and owners manual.

    Get yours ONLINE today!

The sad thing about that article is, about 90% of the general public would respond by saying: COOL!

What the hell? Has even RMR been wrong 3 for 3 in describing police radar technology?

    It supposed to read:
It detects K (used by many Walmarts, Walgreens, Costcos, Petsmarts, Home Depots and Lowes to greet customers), Ka POP (used by almost nobody, and even if it was, our Cobras are blind to it) and Ku (used by certain satellite tv providers to transmit porn to your tv in high resolution)

The sad thing is I have a friend who is a Crapra user and this is the kind of BS I hear from him a lot about his detector. The other day he told me that his Crapra was invisible to Spectre.

I don't have the heart to tell him the truth.
