Radar detector to use in Europe

Hello!
I would like to get some advice on choosing a quality radar detector to use in Europe.

The story:
I have got a new so praised Whistler PRO 73 from USA and ran a test yesterday traveling in Lithuania, Europe for more than 700 km. I've made a conclusion that the Whistler PRO 73 should be called 'gas station detector' or even 'cell phone provider's tower detector'. The Whistlers unit gave hundreds of false signals while passing all petroleum stations and cell phone provider's towers. It looks like the filters do not work at all.

End of story.

I would like to know which radar detector should I use in Europe in order to get the best performance and least false signals?
I need the detector that could detect 'mobile camera/speed measuring vehicles'. The mobile speed measuring system mounted by police in a single car called 'Trip Track' is used here. I have noticed that usual radar detectors like Cobra cannot detect it at all.
How do these mobile speed measuring vehicles work?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

best to go a Bel RX65 or and Escort X50, do a search for more info.

Stalker, Why would you make that recommendation for Europe?
Europe is alive with Ku band Gatsos, the peculiar X band used in some places and also some non 904nM Lidar, none of which can be detected by the detectors you recommend.
I don't know what the best recommendation would be, so like most reasonable people I will wait and see what people who know recommend. Please think before jumping in and making recommendations, that if worked on, could well get someone arrested!

Also Target (Bel) Euro 550 could be a choice. Here in Finland where I think the facilities are quite the same, RX65 works too.
For the 'false' alarms of gas station - no can do.
They are not false because the automatic door openers works around 24 GHz that is the same as K -band radar

sudenlee...man are you serious...the RX 65 covers all the bands you mentioned...what more do you want??

Easy boy, easy.
Lithuania is part of Baltic. For some reasons they follow more the ways of doing things in Scandinavia more than in central europe. So far as I´m concerned the equipment used fot traffic surveillance are similar than we have. For that reason RX65 is not a bad choice (or V1, 550 euro, Bel 995 etc.)

Exactly, Lithuania is a part of the Baltics. As I have heard, the "Trip track" system was bought from Scandinavian countries also... However, I can't find anything about it on the Internet.
The laser guns which are used here are mostly german made "TraffiPatrol". Radar guns - there are still some of old X band guns (made in USSR) left and some KA band. However, I have recently heard that something new was bought this summer that typical radar/laser detectors (Cobra, Whistler) cannot detect. "Trip Track" cannot be detected by a typical radar/laser detector. Maybe it uses KU band or some kind of a new laser?

Anyway, it would be good to hear some more advice from European drivers.
How about the false signals going through gas stations and markets with automatic doors? Which radar/laser detector gives the least false alarms?

I have a Cobra ESD 9210 and even though it's much cheaper and older than my tested Whistler PRO 73, it doesn't bleep on every gas station... There are some false signals, but it is much less than going with Whistler.

If your detector goes off at doors then it means its working

My RX65 has minimal falses but will still false if a door s near...but not as much as the cheap detectors, in city areas all detectors will go off at some point..but on a country road my detector will never go off unless it is a radar encounter. So i think you should invest in the higher end detectors for best results. Are detectors legal in your country???
