Exclamation sms warning system for south africa

You guys might be interested in a new service we've just launched in SA.
It's free for a while so i dont feel like a spammer writing this, even though it's a little spammy maybe it helps you people...

I've just come from norway where this same service is working real well.
Being a South African myself I feel compelled to make the service work in SA and give our drivers a means of avoiding speeding fines, and ultimately avoid speeding itself.

The basic principle is that people warn each other about speed traps on the roads over SMS.
But instead of just sending an SMS to a friend, you send it to the system which then spreads it out to the whole community.

    Here’s the details.
Members join the area they drive the most, and start receiving sms tips from other drivers on those roads.
If you get caught in a sneaky speed trap, you should then send a warning to the system.
Your warning is then spread out to all other drivers on those roads.

The principle of speed traps is to slow people down, not make a quick buck for the traffic department.
The SMS Radar system is designed to do just this, slow us all down in time.
Heres a link for more information AVOID IT ON THE ROAD WITH SMS RADAR

it's free for now, and we're required by law to tell people when we want to start charging so they can quit if they want to. Our dream is to grow a huge community of tippers and avoid speeding fines.. hope you find it usefull..

I misread SMS as SWS.. wouldn't it be awesome if we got an SWS transmitter and put it on full blast in our cars so crapra users could get radar warnings too

Trapster already has something like this in the USA, as hockey stated. I wonder if they will go worldwide? Trapster JUST added groups, so know you can send them to only people you know, if you choose. I wonder if you have to send 2, one for the surrounding people and one for to your group to get everybody?
