xtr-695 v.s Bel 995 for backup for my v1

ok i was thinking that I want a backup or maybe just use my v1 for highway only, but I have no ideaa which one should I get. I made up my desions either the new whilster 695 or the vector 995 (note that 35.5 ka is mostyl used in my area and some k band ), so which one would be good with 35.5 ka band.

The 995 should be better than the whistler for 35.5 Ka. The whistler has better filtering for driving around town, though.

Since only Ka band is used in your area, get the V995 or V965 and turn off X and K bands. Then you will have a perfectly quiet city radar detector!

well they use k band too, butm mosly ka band 35.5, so the 995 would do better then the xtr 695

Yes, deffinatley go with the 995. The 9500i would give you even more Ka + K detection without any falses. With the exception of the occasional cobra false.
