Will an Escort direct wire smart cord work with a V940

I had a question, I recently ordered a 9500IX. Since they didn't ship it the same day, they are now going to send me a free Direct wire smart cord.
No my question is will it work with the Vector 940?

Nice to see that CS. Did you have to beg/complain to no end about it? Or were they quick to rectify it with the free hardwire/smartcord.

I acutally chatted with a CSR named Aaron through live chat. When I explained the same day ship guarantee to him, and explained that I beleived my product did not ship the same day. He asked for some info to pull up my order and said that I appeared to be correct and that he would get one sent out that day. I called the next day to verify that it was shipped out, and it was indeed shipped via USPS that same day.
I say so far the CS has been great.
