How to Create a Rabbit

Step 1: Find somebody in a large and/or high-profile vehicle who wants to go fast; SUV drivers are perfect.

Step 2: When you come to a decent curve, and your designated rabbit-to-be slows down because he's afraid his high-center-of-gravity vehicle is going to flip over, zoom past him at 100 MPH. Rub it in that you're driving a fast, fun sports car and he's driving a lumbering, gas-guzzling giant and that he he just can't hang.

Step 3: When you get to the straightaway, slow down to the PSL. The now-enraged SUV driver will floor it - after all, he must now prove to you that his vehicle can go fast, too. He will quickly catch up and pass you.

Step 4: Let him get about 1/4 mile ahead, then kick it up to match his speed and enjoy the radar/lidar shield.

If I think I have a potential rabbit following me I will lull them into the speed I want to go, then switch into the right lane. The key is to continue at your current speed for a little while, it works better if they stay in the left lane. Then you just slowly decrease your speed until they drive on by and lead to the way. It takes patience and does not always work, but for the most part its good.

I can make one at will.

In MI, all I have to do it pass ANY domestic (sport cars are quicker to react) and they take it as an attack and HAVE to show me up.

In TX, its trucks. You cruise by a newer truck already doing about 75mph, and to up-hold their 'the shyte' status, they have to pass me and show they are better. It works in the country (Tyler, Winona, White Oak, Longview region), but especially so in the Dallas area. All these punk high school kids just think they are the...

My fiance notices it too. I guess I do it subconsciously now. I know of no one that plays into the other drivers ego more than myself, although I have yet to meet any you fellas.
