What will happen to Radar in the near future?

I was wondering if radar guns would ever be replaced my laser guns, and or would there be a new technology out to catch speeders. What do you guys think would happen, anyone want to guess the future

the future.. no need for radar or laser guns, just speed cameras every intersection handing out tickets by mail for anyone speeding 5 over, driving too closely, red light and yellow light breaking.

1 camera can give tickets for atleast 3 or 4 violations.

well if that is the case than that would be good for us because we would have our gps red light and speed detector. I think radar and laser would still be around. Becuase the leos would be bored with out them done ya think

actually that would suck cos if every intersection has a camera your radardetector/gps will beep the **** out of you to the point of getting rid of it.

very true I didnt think of it that way, but still iam mean it is better then radar and excpessially better then lidar

moreover there are systems used by DOT which uses lasers to do this and no detector will detect that. it is being already used as a trial in one of the states to monitor trucks speeds,weight, explosives etc.
