sensitivity difference?(rx65-v995

is there a big sensitivity difference in the bel rx65 and the v995? or is it just features..i am torn between the two. i drive highway and some in the city. mostly need it for local pd and texas state troopers and deputies..

Both have the same sensitivities in their default factory settings. The RX65 however also has a special USA mode which somewhat boosts its Ka band sensitivity. This is accomplished by having the RX65 only scan the three specific frequency blocks used by USA Ka band radar guns models. The sensitivity gain is roughly 2dB -- enough for a few more seconds of earlier alert time during your average radar encounter and up to several seconds of earlier alert time in shallow over-the-hill radar encounters.

mk..im thinking that the v995 will come into very good use..its roughly in my budget, but i think that i can spare a few bucks for the extra little bit..

Also, the Rx65 has threat display which will show multiple signals at one time, the 995 does not. So say for instance you approach an alert K, an a cop is up the street running ka it can display both signals on the screen.
