But, Bee III does not mean that it is POP, there are BEE III units that are not POP, correct?

I believe all BEE IIIs have POP, but that doesn't mean the officer has to use it in that mode.

This is just an update. I saw another BEE III today in an unmarked Plano Pd Unit. Here are the details.
At parker and Independence I saw an unmarked plano squad. No light bar on the top. As I looked in the dash the Bee was there. When he passed the unit said Watch Commander on the side of it. So far I have seen 2 of these Bee III's and only in the commander or sergant's vehicles. I am assuming they are seeing how they work before they train there other officers on them.
On a side note I heard that there is like a police convention going on here in Dallas. After that announcement I saw a Wilmer Police car in Plano. If they are getting out somewhere this weekend I sure would like to show up and see what they have in there cars. The Radio said the get together is for departments to get together and see other equipment and stuff like that.
