Are these essentially the same other than the Bel has a red display and the Escort has a blue display? The Bel is also $30 cheaper I assume due to using a red display.

Exactly the same except the GX65 doesn't have TrueLock and the display like you said.

Yeah. TrueLock automatically locks out the falses on its own. The GX65 can manually store locations though since it also uses GPS.

They both can lock out signals, but the big difference is the ix can automatically lockout signals, the gx65 you have to do it yourself.

BOTH have True Lock, although it's called something else on the GX65. The only difference is the color of the display and Autolearn, where the 9500ix can "learn" falses on it's own and lock them out.

It can, but the likelihood of a LEO sitting in the same spot every day 24-7 is unlikely, and the ix will unlearn a lock out if the radar isn’t present all the time. Plus the lock out radius is only up to 1/2mi and a LEO’s radar goes much further than that, so you will get some warning before the lock out in most cases.
Allot of factors need to come into play to lock out a LEO’s radar.

Auto lock learns a lock out by seeing it at a specific location a few times, and will unlock it if it is not present.
I wonder if the ix knows to not lock out a location after it’s learned that radar isn’t there all the time?

You also have the options to use manual TrueLock, automatic AutoLock, or turn it off.

There are also some programming/feature differences between the GX65 & 9500ix. The added benefits of the ix are will worth it over the GX65 IMO, and the 9500 sires has been around longer to get the fine tuning it needed.
