like i said if u already have 2 u might have to ReReg im not to sure i will call DPS when they open

2 of my friends got one plate one got a new car the other ReReg and both only got one plate

I just got off the phone with the S.O. office here in Chambers County and I was told that the legislation that would allow only one plate in Texas was defeated. We still require front and rear plates. :x

I bought a Lotus Esprit a couple of weeks ago, from a man in Florida, and registered it here in Texas. The state gave me two plates. I'm trying to get a bracket for the front plate currently. Until then, I've got the plate held on with good old baling wire.

I'd love to see Texas stop requiring a front plate, but I'm not holding my breath for it.
