9500CI does interfere with the V1 look at video
Notice at :12 seconds into the video as soon as the9500CI alerts (smart mute) the V1 picks up a Ka signal. I can conclude that the 9500CI DOES interfere with the V1. So rule 101 "IF YOU OPERATE TWO RD's SIMULTANEOUSLY TAKE THE RESULTS WITH A GRAIN OF SALT"

Why would you blame that on the 9500ci? My V1 does not alert to Ka band when my smartmute stops muting. I think your V1 ghosted a Ka band contact because of the strong K band source directly in front of you.

I say this because after dozens and dozens of encounters my V1 3.813 never ghosts on K band. I have posted a couple of videos before demonstrating this. Now my other V1's (3.851 and later) were famous for ghosting

In a real world scenario, anything can happen that did not happen before once or a dozen times and I think this applies to any RD's unless it is lab tested.

The KA alert could actually be a problem with the V1 alerting to KA to K when in close range.
People have seen their V1 false KA or K, when they are very close to the opposing signal

I've been past a spot where 2 K band speed signs are directly across the street from each other, right next to a pharmacy and my V1 ghosted a Ka band bogey both times. My 9500ci was completely silent both times, since all of these K band sources are locked out. I'm quite confident that happya$$'s Ka band bogey was a ghost due to the very strong K band source and had nothing to do with the 9500ci.Originally Posted by crazyVOLVOrob

Sounds scary...
Couldn't it be interfering because happya$$'s antenna is in his car near the V1? Or was the placement changed?
It may be stealth, but I would assume it gives off something, even if it only a few feet.
