Bad idea ! Some here get away running a remote and a dash unit and thats about it.
Don't run two RDs together. They will interfere with each other. The best way to run two together is to have a remote installed one and a windshield mounted one.
You *can* but it'd need some through testing to make sure they aren't 1 setting each other off, or the much more scary 2, causing one or both detectors to miss alerts altogether or at reduced sensitivity.
It's *easier* with one remote RD and one ash mount.
But you need to be willing to devote lots of time to testing if you wnat to run multiples.
whats a remote install??
Like a 9500ci... radar antenna and laser shifters and installed in the grille of your car and the display and interface in installed in your vehicle. Its a custom install.
When i was pondering getting a V1 my thought was to install it remotely in the front grill and run a remote display in the car.
I decided to wait for a completely stealth V1 and stay with the 9500 instead. I find it very rare where the arrows would of been an advantage, nice but no advantage.
The tech I talked to at VR said no. He made note even if the two RD’s are not setting each other’s alerts systems off they could well be interfering with each other.
I asked him any way to tell. He said I could run some test equipment and try and make a determination but more than likely it would be expensive. He said look at some of the distances I have picked up Cobras. So if two RD’s are on the same car there is a possibility even if they are not alerting, without proper test equipment, you wouldn’t know if they are interfering with each other.

thanks for everyones input... im picking up the v1 after work tonight and do some testing with them together and seporated.. ill let yall know with test results... on the plus side my manager was intrastesd in my current set up with the 9500ix and ZR3 both fearly new maby a month old at most and he is willing to buy it from me... so i may just stay with the v1 put alil more money down and get dual L1 jammer???
Have fun reinventing the wheel.
I can think of better ways to waste my time than trying to prove something that a million other people have already proven.
