Whistler Pro-3450 vs Beltronics Vector 995 or 955

I will need a new detector soon and am looking at these three. I like the outside temp option on the whistler, plus the remote feature. But, I'm wondering if the Bel's are better? If so, the only thing I see on the 995 over the 955 is the 995 reads Ku, which I don't need. Thoughts/tips?

The 995 also has tech mode so you know what laser gun you are being shot with OR if its a false KA alert or not

That's a HUGE advantage for the 995 over the 955/965. It's worth the extra $ IMHO.

The Whistler XTR-695, XTR-690se, Pro-78se, and XTR-695se also offer something similar.

I don't know anyone who uses that Whistler model on this forum. In this instance I'd go with one of the Bel's. Remote units are generally less effective than corded detectors.(Unless it's the 9500ci.)

That's what I was thinking, as far as being less effective.

If that's the case, it looks like I'd be choosing between the Whistler Pro-78 or the Bel 995 then.
