Thread: Finally decided

Well, after much debate, I went with the Whistler Pro 3450 remote mount unit. It works as well as any other Whistler, just from use, no specific data. I have loaded a video to YouTube in regards to how I have it mounted...

I think I'll stick with this unit until I can afford a V1. I like the remote mount option and it appears that the V1 is the next price point available with the remote mount... I'm just not to that price point yet.

Clean. Can't wait to see what you do with a v1.

Nice install. I wonder how this performs compared to the other high-end Whistlers, Escort 8500, Bel RX-65, etc.

You should have kept on saving for the mighty V1, now its going to take even longer to get it. BTW nice install

I thought about that... after the fact

However, it would've been that much longer without a detector. Average protection is better than no protection

Now my dash is primed and ready for when I do get the V1... of course by then they will be on to the V7

Nice install. Can't wait to hear your experiences with this detector. I know of no one else on the forums that uses this detector. Think of yourself as a pioneer.

So, in theory, it should act the same as the Pro-73... which happens to be my last RD, so I've noticed no real difference. I liked my Pro-73, and so far I like this one as well.

I'm really interested to hear as well. Roush use to put those on mustangs, now they use 9500ci.
