Looking for broken 8500

I am thinking of collecting radar detectors. I don't care if they are no longer working. Specifically, for now I am looking for an escort 8500 (non x50) model. Does anyone have one they would be willing to part with?

Actually no. I have V1 right now and although I was looking into possibly getting the escort for gps capability, I think I may just go with standalone. So V1 for radar/laser and cheetah for gps. I've already but some bids on ebay, but I figure I would check with the forum as well. Besides I thought you had to have a working unit to get the credit.

Look around and you will find them. I believe there are two revision #'s on the Escort "original" 8500. The Rev 13 and the Rev 15. The Rev 15 is supposed to be the best revision model. I bought my 8500 for $50 but it wasn't detecting 33.8 when I tested it, so I had to send it into Escort for repair. Other models are cheaper to repair, but when sending in the Escort "original" 8500, it costs $80 for repair.
