i wonder how a laser jammer would do that, witht he fact that the beam is as wide and tall as your car...
with it being a continous laser the v1 would have no problem picking it up.
just imagine how much scatter it will create! it will bounce absolutly all over the place, off every vehicle!![]()
also if its on the side of a multilane road then we would run in to cosine errors and with it hitting all the cars like that you'd get sweeping errors....
from the look of it its inaccurate, laser devices are ment to be held in 1 position, start scanning it across the road and who knows what speed it will pick up, who knows where the laser is hitting.....
inaccurate!
its made by vitronic a germany company...

The system can record and measure several vehicles in parallel lanes simultaneously – even in bends. For multi-lane purposes
PoliScanspeed is equipped with a twin camera set-up. As an option PoliScanspeed measures and acquires images of traffic offenses from
front and rear.
Digital image recording can be carried out 24 hours of the day, irrespective of daylight, weather conditions, and traffic density.
PoliScanspeed meets the highest demands with regard to data security.
Time and position recording is supported by a GPS module. To document the traffic offenses, PoliScanspeed uses high-resolution digital cameras, taking overview pictures including the drivers’ photographs. The image, speed measurement and case data are merged as evidence, and stored in
encrypted, digital form.
Electronic signatures prevent any alteration of the case data, ensuring clear allocation to the relevant measuring device.
The new technology for digital speed measurement
PoliScanspeed – a pioneering mobile traffic supervision solution for police, communities and districts Multi-lane speed measurement
PoliScanspeed is an innovative system for digital speed detection and recording.
In contrast to conventional measuring systems, such as radar, light barriers, piezo-section etc., PoliScanspeed simplifies the detection and recording of traffic offenses. PoliScanspeed can be used either as a
mobile or a stationary system. It allows the evaluation of possible offenses and the quality assessment of the relevant pictures to be made either on the spot, or later in the office.
PoliScanspeed uses a laser-based speed measurement and triggering device. It does not require any induction loops. Due to its compact design PoliScanspeed can be installed either in a car, on a tripod or on a post. The system’s design takes only a few minutes to install on site.
