I'm talking about a unit being operated by a cop that you got a reading on from your detector. I know detectors may not be 100% accurate as far as the readout btw, but just curious as to what variance you guys have seen. I'm obviously talking about those with detectors that can display the frequency.
I had posted a while back that I got an alert that showed up as 33.715 on a Redline, but never saw a cop and couldn't determine the source There were some comments that this was well outside the norm for 33.8, and some suggested that it was probably from a non-police source (maybe a satellite receiver on a semi truck).
Just wondering how much variance can be expected on 33.8, 34.7, 35.5 in the real world.
