Need help choosing the right RD

Hey guys, im new to this site, been reading about RD's on this message board for a while and researching other sites. Im just curious to see what RD you guys recommend, because I am going to buy one for Christmas for my brother. I live in New Jersey and i hear that they use "X" Band...so that you guys know...and just need to kno what you guys is the best suitable one for someone who lives in North Jersey that travels in the cities in Bergen County and the Turnpike/Parkway areas. Thanks ahead of time. I know you guys know your stuff.

My Budget is $400-$500 top of the line RD, I want to buy him a RD that will last be worth it and work great in NJ.

New Jersey also uses LASER!!!!!!!!

I recommend the BEL V995 and get a laser jammer as well

Seeing as NJ is still old school a cheaper detector like the BEL v995 will do great against X-band i drive through often....you need a laser jammer as well
270 + 350 = Complete coverage

Im not familiar with Laser Jammers really, what kind of laser jammer do u guys recommend as well with these radar detectors.

Blinder M20, Lidatek Dual, Escort zr3 and Bel LaserPro 905, are the jammers currently on the market which give great coverage....

Any of the above jammers used with VEIL and a Laser Sheild is a good combo.
