Actually I have found that the Redline is no more chatty than an RX65 s7 or RX65 m4.

My V1 falses less than my XTR-690se did. Can't remember the last Ka false since turning off POP. Go with the V1 and enable K-band automuting.

Nope, DJ is right. I have had plenty of I/O warnings that were below the 4 LED threshold. PLENTY!

But, that is not to say there is not a use for this feature. Just remember to switch back to A mode when jumping on the highway.

I'll give you that. If you use the bare minimum of K band automuting, it's no worse than city mode on other RDs. That being said, if I lived in an area where K band I/O was used, I sure as hell wouldn't trust a V1 that didn't alert to I/O shots under 4 dots.
