laser false?

Hey guys I drove today and got a laser which scared the crap out of me! But didnt see a officer? Can you get falses on laser? I have a bel rx65

yes there are laser falses
-3rd brake lights of GM SUVs
-sunlight off hood
-laser controled cruise control
-wind shear monitors at airports or weather stations

probably more possible falses others will tell you

One of the "newer" flashing yellow lights from the light bar of a tow truck set mine off once. I now turn off laser on the detector and let the laser jammers handle laser.

I think i got a false laser alert Saturday from a Lincoln Continental (3rd brake light) and it wasn't a new model either. It was the only thing near me.
