my lasershield looks very different after the rain

Hi

today is the first time it rained after i got my lasershield 2 months back. Before it used to make my license plate look slightly blurry and lighter coloured, but after the rain, it looks really sharp and more solid? It's almost as if the shield isn't there. But there are some patches that were just like before the rain, i.e. 80% of the plate is so clear that u can't tell the shield is there, and 20% (patches) of it is blurred as normal.

I 'm guessing the water has gone between the shield and the actual plate cover causing this? Will this reduce it's effectiveness? Or it'll probably dry out in a few days?

happens to mine...I don't think it matters. I have tested it with a laser pointer wet and dry nothing seems to change

yeah mine gets like that....i dont worry much...havnt had any probs with it yet.

but it looks so clear and bright, i am worried it may not be effective anymore? Even up close u can hardly tell the shiled is there. Before it rained, even from a distance it's a bit obvious that the shield was there.

when it rains and the water gets inbetween the plate and the lasershield, it temporarly reduces the effectiveness of the it. one time, when i got home after driving through the rain, i wondered the same thing. so i got out my IR camera and checked it out. the lasershield looked as if it had holes in it becuase there were spots were the plate looked extremely reflective. it scared me becuase i thought maybe parts of it had broken or chipped off, but no worries. the next day it was all fine again
