    Default Blinder integration

I think I'm ready to pick up a V1, and a Blinder in a month or two. Are there any RDs that integrate with Blinder out of the box?

I think I've read about Cheetah integration, I'm just wondering if I can get a nice simple install if I go with a RD designed to work with Blinder, or vice versa.

No, but you don't need them integrating... Both the Blinder and V1 have stand-alone alerts that work well for laser.

The only jammer/RD combos that really integrate are the Escort/Bel/CM products... since they are made by the same company essentially.

the V1 and LI integrate to an extent....you won't notice any performance or convenience (IMO) increases however

well theres the Qi45 and the 9500ci

but I would recommend sticking with the blinder that your thinking about, it will give you better protection then any of the Escort Jammers

If it weren't for this forum, I probably would have gone with the qi45 over the v1. And I still may, my v1 is in the mail.
I'm not a fan of hanging gear on my interior. Blinders seem like a no-brainer to me though.

if your not a fan of hanging **** on your windshield you could

    a. see if you can find an STi-R and buy it from an unauthorized dealer (no warranty but real cheap price)

    b. Buy a 9500CI and a blinder

    c. Buy an STi-R plus from a foreign dealer

    d. wait and see if a successor to the STi-R comes to the USA

Seriously though the QI45 is just like having an 8500x50 in your bumper, no real performance gains off a detector that you can get refurbished for $150.

    M3~V1 > S7 > M4

(V1~M3 varies depending on your needs)

Just curious.... why would you buy the 9500ci and the Blinder? If your going this route it would be cheaper to get the 9500ix, that will save a couple hundred dollars right there which you can use to pay for the install

The 9500CI is an M3 antenna whereas the 9500ix is an M4 antenna. As far as belscorts go thats the top and the bottom of my preference list.
    M3>S7>M4
Plus he said he didn't want anything on his windshield

I don't know why people talk about M4's as "bottom of the barrel" as far as detection goes. I'm relatively inexperienced and have never owned any of the other platforms, but after taking 10+ 200mi+ road trips with my 9500ix I've found the detection range to be more than enough on the highway. After realizing I didn't get the "highway" platform even though I do primarily highway driving, I had planned to ebay it and get a M3. If I get the chance to exchange it with a friend or get a M3 for cheap I probably will, but the 9500ix has been no slouch and has always provided more than enough notification for me to slow to the PSL as long as I have a rabbit on the highway. Though I don't care much about RLC's, the thought of getting a ticket from a speed camera that was newly put in or driving in an area I was unfamiliar with makes my hair stand on end. Looking at this website today provided some perspective for me....
