Between X50 / RX65. Which one would you buy?

Each detector has its ups and downs.... As stated dont let anyone pick your detector for you...
The thing here is YOU CANT GO WRONG EITHER WAY...

I have both, and MirMoore is correct here.

X50 by a long shoot. And by the way its a fact of life that the RX65 has had many issues on laser in fact I have even heard that the Rx65 does not even sound off at all when the laser gun is pointed right at it and I can't speak for all the rest of the members but in my opinion this kind of laser range is bad for a highend detector.

Just remember that Laser detection won't save you from getting a ticket. Unless you have Veil + LaserShield and/or a Laser Jammer, the LEO most likely already has your speed by the time your Laser detection goes off.

Few differences of the x50 vs rx5
x50 - full alerts, rx65 does not.

The RX65 full alerts, but it does not use a solid tone like the X50 does for full-alert.

Yeah I really hate that about my RX-65, I expect a constant tone when I'm at point-blank range, I don't know wht they were thinking when they designed the audio alerts on the RX-65. I'm not too crazy about the "phone ringing" tones it uses either.

I already knew this but I been saved atleast two times now with just the detector and nothing eles. I do uderstand that this almost always will never be the case but never say never.
