Escort and Beltronics radar detectors. Whistler also has spec mode but it is only for Ka frequencies.

Not all Bels have it, if you decide to buy any, run it by us first.

For your purpose, I don't think a Whistler would be a good choice. They have been known to completely mis-identify bands, so there's no way I could trust that the frequency ID would be accurate.
Any of the following units will have frequency display.
Escort:
8500 (or X50)
9500(i/ix/ci)
C65
Qi45
Redline
Beltronics:
Vector 985
Vector 995
RX65
GX65
RX45
STI (and STI-R)

refurb escort 8500 on fleabay.
Caution....your V1 and this dashmount RD will intefere with each other.

they are discontinued,,C65 is same as Bel RX65
