No idea, but I wouldn't put that stuff on any of my electronic devices personally. Just take your radar detector down instead of leaving it bake in the sun.

I would take it down instead of letting it bake i the sun.. But if you're going to use anything I would use 303 Aerospace Protectant. Spray it on a rag and then apply to the top of RD.

Armor all won't do much to protect the insides of the RD, where the true damage occurs from baking in the sun.

This. UV on the outside is only going to make it change colors. Heat is what you are worried about... but honestly, if the things are dying from heat, it's pretty stupid to sell them for use in an automotive environment.

Crap, my radar horn and lidar heads are up at the front of the car, by a stupidly hot radiator. What am I supposed to do there?

I would not put Armor All on anything. Nor would I expect any liquid vinyl/rubber preparation to actually provide measurable protection from UV rays. Mebee some of the others do...?

    303 (mentioned above) does.

just would make it stickier in the future (a dust magnet) which is worse to electronics than heat

I have used Armour All for the past decade without issue but switch to 303 since a lot of people have reported Armour All causes cracks and is a drying agent. You can buy 303 at any boat store for 10 bucks.
