    go with a V-1
use the extra $100 to lavish some female with carnal bribes
    impress her with the arrows

I own both and I would choose the V1.

And what's your reasoning behind this statement?

He like V1 I guess, he also have both so he know what each detector will do for his or her area.

It really depends on your area, the threats, and the type of roads you drive. I love my V1, but just got the redline. I am extremely impressed with the Redline on 35.5 Ka. I travel on back roads a lot that are curvy and hilly with 35.5 Ka the primary threat. My V1 would give barely give me enough notice to slow down. I can't believe how sensitive the Redline is for Ka 35.5. I'm picking up a signal and expecting to run into the LEO almost immediately but I'm getting a much longer warning.

For K band, I haven't noticed much of a difference. I do miss the arrows on the V1, but I'll be running the V1 on the highway and I think the arrows help more there then in town.

Same for me. I travel isolated single lane highways so I want the most Ka sensitivity as possible. That's why I chose the Redline when upgrading from my S7 8500. I couldn't care less about arrows.

There is more to effective detection than just sensitivity. Response time and ramp-up are among such things that you should consider. Do a search for this on the forum to learn about it before making your decision.

I own both. For around town driving I use the v1 becuase of the easy bogey counter and arrows. On the highway I use the Redline. Overall I think i like the v1 better but the freq display and easier to see display of bands is cool for the Redline. I'm just waiting for the combination of the 2 to come out. I would vote v1 if I were you.
