    Default Power cord question???

So my Redline is hard wired. Does the V1 and redline use the same kind of plug? Like the phone thingy??? If so, is there a such thing as a "splitter"? I could take the ONE powered phone cord thingy that is currently hardwired and then plug it into a box and then it splits out as to TWO powerd cords. One for the V1 and one for the Redline???

ALSO, does a v1 have the ability to add a aux speaker??
    Thanks Yall!!!

    I have no idea.

Yes, they offer a remote audio adapter and it'll cost you $50. The V1 by itself does not have the ability to add a remote speaker.

The phone "thingy" is called RJ-11.

Yes, the v1 and the redline can use the same rj11 cable. if you have the smart cord remote mute button, or the v1 concealed display, they will not work with the opposite product. they will only work with the detector they were made for.

I was talking to another member about doing this when i wanted to put my V1 in the back headrest. i think he said it was possible to use a splitter, but i can't remember. not sure how the fuse would handle two loads. someone else will have to help you in more detail with that one.
