I find that because the Escort 8500 X50 has a very high pitch sound on ka I don't miss it even if I have my music up loud and I have two subs. And 4 3 way six by 9's it maybe a good idear to get an escort radar detector. with loud tones i find that the Beltronics detectors just don't seem loud enough.

Maybe for the older Beltronics detectors but the gx65 speakers are quite loud. I'm sure I would have heard the warning if I was using that detector. Thanks for the suggestion.
