Since my V1 is hardwired by my rearview I was thinking why not make it easier to take down the V1 in case I have to. The way that the telephone wire is bent in my headliner forces it to bend a certain way to the V1 that it's pushing on the unit.

I broke off the tab of the cable and I can rip down the V1 extremely fast, compared to having to try to find the tab in the heat of the moment (like aa2......)

Anyways, I'll post a quick vid later showing how easy it comes off.

Lmao, just saying that if there IS a need to take it down this is the fastest way to tear down the detector without stumbling.
