    Default Disabling K band..

    Hi All,

    For the most part the K band has been useless for me and I am now considering turning it off with the X..

    Would you guys say it's smart to keep it?

    Depends on where you are. A lot of places still use K band.

    Also, even if K isn't used where you are, if you take a trip out of town you may want to turn it back on.

    If speed kills, how come I'm still alive?

    Also, even if the stateys have switched entirely to Ka, you still have to watch out for local yokels that may still have K.

    If you feel the need to ask (because of a lack of both experience and knowledge);

    there's a good chance, it's a bad move

    You are right, I've just been wondering more and more lately as I've had the detector for about 3 years with no K threats that were real.

    useful info not revealed in your post-count *smirk*

    3 years is certainly long enough to have a good 'feel' for your adversaries and their technology.
