Default What safety mesaure should I invest in first?

I was originally going to buy a Laser Interceptor without any type of radar detector. Is this safe to do? I figure with more cops switching to laser there is no point to a radar detector. Also in my area SE MI, most cops are using laser, at least the times that I have been pulled over they have used laser. I see a lot of people who get a radar detector and laser jammer, if I bought just a laser interceptor do you think I will be OK.

    Hi Simon,

Get a RADAR Detector first, then a Jammer.

Well, Cliff's comment should certainly be the de facto' answer. You are much more likely to be shot with Radar than laser on any day ending in 'y'.

Alright, I figured theres a reason for people getting both radar/jammers. I will be purchasing a Valentine One as people around the internet say its the best? Then soon after purchasing a Laser Interceptor. Thanks for the replies guys.
